Amy spent 20 years working for daily newspapers around the country and was a member of the Pulitzer Prize-winning staff of the Miami Herald. She has consulted on content and social media for a variety of companies and organizations, including the American Museum of Natural History, Verizon and VentureBeat. She has been a mentor for Women 2.0 and has spoken at dozens of conferences, including SXSWi, SMX and Mediabistro. Champion of what she calls #SMEtiquette (social media etiquette), Amy is renowned for her ability to keep online conversations civil. She was named the 15th-most influential woman in tech on Twitter by Business Insider and Peer Index. She lives with her family in New Jersey and shares ownership of a very photogenic Siberian husky named Lumi with her mother-in-law.
